What is NightColor and Advanced Analytics?
NightColor Technology
The camera uses Illumivue’s NightColor technology to capture clear, full-colour images even in extremely low light.
- Vivid colour in the dark: F1.2 large-aperture optics and a back-illuminated sensor (BSI) maximise light intake so scenes remain colourful and bright in ultra-low-light conditions [1].
- High sensitivity & low noise: Large-format sensors provide high photosensitivity and a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), while the patented U-ISP algorithm reduces noise and blur, improving definition and brightness of moving objects [2].
- Accurate scene reproduction: Noise-reduction technology and motion-blur compensation preserve true-to-life colour and detail so footage isn’t washed out or blurry [3].
- Enhanced identification: Full-colour video makes it easier to distinguish vehicle colours, brands and licence plates, and to recognise facial features, hair colour and clothing details—information that IR-only cameras can miss [4].

Illumivue’s advanced analytics suite makes surveillance smarter by reducing false alarms and focusing detection on meaningful events.

National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)

Section 889 prohibits U.S. federal agencies and their contractors from purchasing or using telecommunications and video surveillance equipment from certain manufacturers due to national security concerns.
